The Senior Advisory Committee, previously the Senior Advisory Task Force, was formally established on June 23, 2009 to serve in an advisory role to the City Council regarding matters pertaining to broader senior issues and operation of the Mountain View Senior Center.

Senior Advisory Committee Authorizing Resolution

The SAC consist of seven (7) members appointed by City Council.  Members of the SAC may serve a maximum of two consecutive four-year terms staggered so that three or four seats would be open for appointment every two years. Therefore, the expiration dates for some of the initial appointments will be less than four years.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month on a 10 month calendar year (no meetings in August or December) from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Senior Center.
